About Ryan Keenan

As a Senior Wealth Advisor for Citi Personal Wealth Management, Ryan Keenan brings a unique and disciplined approach to wealth management, rooted in a deep background in portfolio trading, risk management, and market analytics.

With a financial career spanning more than two decades across J.P. Morgan, Ronin Capital and Northwestern Mutual, Ryan works with individuals, families, and business owners to provide thoughtful, customized wealth solutions tailored to their unique financial goals. He applies the same analytical rigor and risk-aware mindset to client portfolios that earned him success in the derivatives markets—translating complex financial strategies into clear, action-oriented plans focused on long-term wealth creation.

Ryan's advisory approach is rooted in five essential principles: focus, control, analytical aptitude, thorough research, and disciplined record-keeping. Whether he’s guiding multigenerational families through estate planning by working with their legal and tax advisor, or constructing tax-efficient investment strategies, he brings a steady hand, strategic thinking, and an unwavering commitment to client success.

He continues to expand his risk management philosophy and professional development. His experience mentoring junior traders has carried over to his client relationships—where he is known for his clear communication, financial education, and collaborative style.

He has a B.A. in communications from St. Norbert College, Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 securities licenses and a life insurance license.

Outside of work, Ryan enjoys skiing and snowboarding, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, staying active in his community, mentoring up-and-coming professionals, and spending meaningful time with his family.
