As a Senior Wealth Advisor for Citi Personal Wealth Management, Elmer Sarmiento focuses on building strong and lasting relationships with clients and their families by understanding their personal and financial goals and creating effective plans to achieve them. With his practice, he focuses on portfolio management, retirement planning and financial planning.

Backed by Citi’s wealth planning process and product and research capabilities, Elmer can develop a financial plan designed around what’s most important to clients, whether they are looking ahead to retirement, planning a child’s education or focused on managing day-to-day finances. He can also work with Citi colleagues in banking and lending to help simplify a client’s finances.

Elmer joins Citi from JPMorganChase, where he worked for 15 years in banking and advisory roles.

Elmer has Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and is life insurance licensed.

He has an MBA from National University, with an emphasis in financial management, and graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with an emphasis in business marketing.

A huge Los Angeles Chargers fan, Elmer enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
