About Hiroto
Hiroto brings over two decades of wealth management experience serving high-net-worth families, retirees, widows, business owners, corporations, and foundations. Specializing in the complex investment advisory needs of high-net-worth clients, Hiroto advises clients on customized strategies formulated to help clients manage risk, optimize tax-efficiencies, and provide liquidity while pursuing attractive returns balanced with capital preservation objectives.
Helping clients transfer wealth to loved ones is also a focal point. His wealth management techniques are thoughtfully crafted based upon thorough analysis of client needs and circumstances, yielding the added benefit of knowing his clients more personally.
In addition to equity portfolio strategies, Hiroto also specializes in tax-exempt municipal bonds and fixed-income, with an extensive background in bond portfolio construction and management, augmenting his custom approach towards meeting long-term client objectives.
Born in Japan but raised in New York, Hiroto speaks English with some Japanese. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Occidental College, leading him to settle in California. Previously he worked at JPMorgan Securities, UBS, and Salomon Smith Barney. His original career spanned nearly a decade managing various businesses for the plastics subsidiary of Mitsui&Co. Hiroto holds his Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses with FINRA, and his life and health insurance license with the California Department of Insurance.
Apart from investing, he enjoys hiking, camping, music, cooking, French wines, and contributing to charitable causes. He resides in South Bay with his wife and rescue puppy.
