Relationship Tier

Customers who did not own a Citibank checking, savings, CD, IRA, or investment account (investment accounts are offered through Citigroup Global Markets, Inc.) in the 30 days prior to opening a new deposit account (“New to Relationship customers”) may choose their Relationship Tier when opening a deposit account. If you are a New to Relationship customer, you will begin to enjoy benefits of Citi Relationship Tiers upon account opening. We will begin reviewing your Combined Average Monthly Balance (CAMB) for all Eligible Deposit and Investment* (EDI) accounts in the first full month after you open your new account. You must achieve a $30,000 CAMB in EDI accounts in at least one month of the first three full months after account opening to remain in the Citi Priority Relationship Tier. You must achieve a $180,000 CAMB in EDI accounts in at least one month of the first three full months after account opening to remain in the Citigold® Relationship Tier. You must achieve a $800,000 CAMB in EDI accounts in at least one month of the first three full months after account opening to remain in the Citigold® Private Client Relationship Tier. Your CAMB is determined by calculating the average monthly balance of all EDI accounts you own during a calendar month.

*Eligible deposit, retirement, and investment accounts (investment accounts are offered through Citigroup Global Markets Inc.) (EDI) that you own or for which you are beneficial owner can contribute toward your CAMB. Please refer to the Consumer Deposit Account Agreement to determine which EDI accounts contribute toward your CAMB. The following accounts are excluded from EDI accounts: accounts owned by Estates, accounts that are not consumer accounts, COMMA accounts, Collateral Holding accounts, Secured CD accounts, certain personal investment companies and non operating entities, accounts in a money purchase plan or profit sharing plan, accounts in a tax-qualified education savings plan, and accounts opened through Citi Global Wealth at Work, and Citi Private Bank.

The higher mobile check deposit limits are applicable to both the individual customer limit and the per account limit. Please refer to the Mobile Check Deposit Service User Agreement for a complete description of the applicable deposit limits for eligible accounts enrolled in the service and other important terms and restrictions.

Customer must have an eligible checking, savings or money market account to send a Citibank Global Transfer. Transfer limits apply and are subject to change based upon the security measures we use to protect your accounts. First time transfers are subject to lower limits. Citibank Global Transfers are limited to select countries. If the transfer is made in a foreign currency, the exchange rate includes a commission for the currency conversion. Please refer to your Client Manual-Consumer Accounts for additional information about this service.
Citigold Lounges
Verification of Citigold Relationship Tier status may be required for access to Citigold lounges in the form of a photo ID and a current Citigold debit card or other proof of current Citigold status. Citigold lounges may have varying degrees of amenities offered, may have differing policies on admittance, and may restrict admittance during the times of invitation-only functions. The depiction of some Citigold lounges may be based on artist rendering or representative real estate. Opening hours and days may change due to the holidays, natural disasters, and other events. Citigold clients may obtain the most up-to-date information on the Citigold lounges available to them by contacting their dedicated Wealth team.
1. Complimentary Wi-Fi may not be offered directly by the associated Citigold lounge or client center in markets where complimentary Wi-Fi is available through city-wide programs. Device charging services may vary by market.
2. The ability to meet with your dedicated Citigold team in a private setting and attend invitation only events is intended for existing Citigold clients residing in proximity of a U.S. Citigold Client Center.
Citigold Subscription Rebate Program
This is a Citi sponsored program for eligible Citigold and Citigold Private Client customers.

Welcome Checking Cash Bonus Offer

Multiple Offers. You may see different checking offers such as by mail, in person, via email, or online. These promotional offers may have different terms.

Important Information about participating in multiple offers: You can only participate in one of the following offers when you open a new Checking Account: Welcome Checking Cash Bonus Offer, New to Citi Checking Cash Bonus Offer, Enhanced Direct Deposit Checking Acquisition Offer, Branch Relationship Offer, Checking and Savings Bundled Offer, Limited Time Checking Bonus Offer. If you enroll in multiple checking offers that have at least one day in the same Offer Period, you will be awarded the offer with the highest Bonus value. Multiple enrollments in checking offers may lengthen the amount of time it takes to pay your Bonus because Required Activities for all offers must be completed before that determination can be made.

Qualify. So long as you have not owned a Regular Checking account or Access Checking account in the last 365 days, meet Tax Requirements, and are at least 18 years old, you can apply to participate in the Welcome Checking Cash Bonus Offer.

Required Activities

Enroll. Enroll in the Welcome Checking Cash Bonus Offer at the same time you apply to open your new Regular Checking account. You can enroll online or via the Citi Mobile® App on the Welcome Checking Cash Bonus Offer page by clicking “Apply Now” and following the instructions for online account opening, or by contacting a Citibank representative by phone or in a Citibank branch and asking the representative to enroll you in the Welcome Checking Cash Bonus Offer. If you open your Regular Checking account on citi.com by any other means than those described, you will not be eligible to earn the Bonus.

Open a Checking Account. Open a new consumer Regular Checking account during the “Offer Period” of April 14, 2026 to October 26, 2026 (“Checking Account”).

Only certain Checking Accounts qualify. “Checking Accounts” can only be Regular Checking accounts and must be opened in a physical branch in the U.S., or by phone, on citi.com, or the Citi Mobile® App using a residential/home (not mailing) address in one of the following locations at the time you apply for your account: NY, CT, NJ, DC, VA, MD, CA, NV, and select markets in IL and FL.
- Access Checking accounts do not qualify for this offer.
- Living Trusts, UTMA/UGMA, and Custodian accounts are eligible for this offer. Checking Accounts owned by trusts that are not living trusts do not qualify for this offer.
- Estate, COMMA, Representative Payee, Conservator, business, and retirement accounts (IRAs, SEPs, money purchase pension plans and profit-sharing plans) do not qualify for this offer.
- Citi Global Wealth at Work and Citi Private Bank accounts do not qualify for this offer.

Deposit. On the 45th Day after you open your Checking Account, we will check your “On Deposit” balance in New-to-Citibank Funds in your Checking Account which will determine the Maximum Bonus you can potentially earn (“Balance”). Your Balance on the 45th Day can be held in your Checking Account or between your Checking Account AND a new “Citi Savings account”. If you choose to use a new Citi Savings account, your new Citi Savings account must be opened after your Checking Account but before your 45th Day. If your 45th day falls on a non-Business Day, we will count the first Business Day after your 45th Day.

“New-to-Citibank Funds” are funds deposited from accounts external to Citibank, N.A. and deposited: 1) using Enhanced Direct Deposit, or 2) with checks, or 3) through wire transfers.
- Cash deposits, Citi Global Transfers, Citi debit card funding, and transfers between Citibank accounts do not qualify as New-to-Citibank Funds.

An “Enhanced Direct Deposit” (EDD) is an electronic deposit through the Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) Network of payroll, pension, Social Security, government benefits and other payments to your checking or savings account. An EDD also includes Zelle® incoming payments and other funds from person-to-person (P2P) payments when transferred through the ACH Network using providers such as Venmo or PayPal. Teller deposits, cash deposits, check deposits, wire transfers, transfers between Citibank accounts, ATM transfers and deposits, mobile check deposits, debit card funding transfers, and P2P payment transfers sent to a Citibank debit card do not qualify as EDDs. Any funds transferred from another financial institution or P2P provider through an instant transfer service will also not qualify as an EDD.

Citi may use other terms to refer to Enhanced Direct Deposit.

Citi Accelerate Savings accounts and Citi Miles Ahead Savings accounts do not qualify.

Maintain your Balance. So long as you maintain at least a $30,000 Balance every day for 45 calendar days starting on the 46th day after you open your Checking Account (“Maintenance Period”), you will remain eligible for a Bonus. Your Balance can be held in your new, eligible Checking Account or between your eligible Checking Account and new Citi Savings account. Please understand if your Balance falls into a lower Balance Level for even one day during the Maintenance Period, your Maximum Bonus will change (see Chart). For example, if your Balance on the 45th Day is $200,000, the Maximum Bonus you could earn is $1,500. If your Balance is $150,000 on day 50, however, the Maximum Bonus you can earn changes to $500.

Keep Open. Your Checking Account must remain open and in good standing for 120 days from the time it’s opened. Please keep a balance in your Checking Account because accounts that maintain a zero balance for 90 calendar days are subject to closure in Citibank’s sole discretion.

Your Bonus will be paid to your Checking Account between the 90th and 120th calendar day after account opening.
